    About the Site

     

    Hello, This site was created In June of 07, but wasn't featured on powerpets till October. 07. Yes, that is a big gap, but I wanted this site to have a lot of information and faqs before submitting it to powerpets.

     

    ppmegahelpsite is known for having ease of navigation, clean design, and a site that you can call your own.

     

    In 2007 I was still in High School taking my first web design class. We used Microsoft Office Frontpage, which I still think is an amazing program. Outdated? Yes, amazing none the less.

     

    This helpsite was a one person team, started out by InvalidEntry and still maintainted by him today. After getting frustrated he decided to get some help because powerpets was updating so fast that he could not handle it on his own.

    So -Mr-PowerIce- was hired to help with item list and few other things. (who left after a year or so.)

     

    After time went on he began to fade, and InvalidEntry decided to leave freewebs and move to freehostia. I had a job, so I could start paying for hosting without ads and a more of a gurantee uptime.

     

    After working on his own for a little bit again he asked oOKiraraOo to be is graphic artist, and updater.

     

    After awhile oOKiraraOo left to persue her life at college, and Indecisive was hired. She was an amazing, talented person, and understood everything I told her. I never lost my cool with her. She did everything I asked her to do, big, small, important, or non-important. She was a great asset to the site, and we miss her!

     

    ppmegahelpsite was the FIRST helpsite to recieve a 5 raiting in all catagories

     

    A few months after Indecisive left I switched to a different editing program. Frontpage was outdated and wouldn't do what I wanted it to do. After a few months, ppmegahelpsite.org was purchased in 2009

     

    In 2010 we went offline because I started college and could no longer update the site as much as I wanted, and funds were tight, but in the 3 years we were online, we generated over 300,000 page loads. We were the site that was viewed the most.

     

    In 2011 I revamped the site entirely. It has all been written in experimental code called HTML 5, HTML 5 is still in it's 'beta' testing because not everything supports it. (UP TO DATE BROWSERS - DO SUPPORT HTML 5)

     

    Almost 300 dollars has gone into keeping this site online, and all the great compliments I have recieved over the years makes the cost worth it.

     

    I thank you for that.

    Hello!

     

    I thought I woudl tell you a little about myself. I'm 20 years old. Will be 21 in March. I am currently enrolled in college to obtain my Associate in Arts Degree (marketing). I have been on powerpets since 2005, and I have never gone more than a couple of days without loging in. I made a helpsite because I wanted people to understand powerpets and make it enjoyable to them like it's enjoyable to me. I also update Powerpets Facebook, and Twitter page!

    Players know me best as Angel, Barbiie, or Dena. I'm 20 years young and my birthday is in April. When I'm not online I am a full-time college student. I already have my associate degree in education and I am currently working to obtain two bachelor degrees in math and education. A few interesting PowerPets facts about me: I started playing the site in 2004, I was one of the original Player Assistants that were chosen in 2005, and in 2009 I was asked to be a Head Moderator! I enjoy giving back to the site since PowerPets gave me hours of enjoyment as a teenager and still continues to do so today.

    AngelxOxBabiie has been a great asset to our site. Though she doesn't do much with the layout or design, she is the girl that know the problem to anything. She has created a formula for all our calculators and wrote some terrific guides, without her, our site wouldn't have as many features as it does today.

    *waves* I’m oOKiraraOo. I’m 22 years old and my birthday is right after Christmas. Aside from my obvious PP addiction, I am also in school full-time studying Office Administration and Business. I started on this site way back in 2003 shortly after the site opened. I’ve had several hiatuses from the site and recently came back from a 2-year break. I’ve helped Invalid with site several times and I do a lot of background work.

    OoKiraraOo has been an amazing asset to ppmegahelpsite. She has been with the helpsite for AGES, I want to say in 2007 is when she first started, and what she did/does is amazing. When she left for those 2 years you might of notice the site did take a turn to the worse, layout was horrid, nothing was ever updated. Now that she is back, you have noticed that our layout is more clean, sleek, and just overall designed better.

     

    I'm so glad she's back!
