Akina is a Geisha who lives in the city of Xiang Chung-Shi. She has been hosting tea ceremonies in her hut since September 2003. You must have a Tea Ceremony Invitation in your backpack in order to begin the tea ceremony.

Akina will take your Tea Ceremony Invitation if you enter her hut. She will also ask you for four items. These items are relatively cheap in value and easy to obtain from either the PowerPets shops or other players. You must have all four items in your backpack before continuing on with the tea ceremony.

The final step of the tea ceremony is to provide Akina with some knowledge. She will ask you a question from one of the many PetPedias on PowerPets. You can obtain the required PetPedia from doing other quests or from purchasing it from other players. After doing so, you must place this book on your bookshelf in order to open and read it. Akina will provide you with five answer choices and it is up to you to read the book and find the correct answer. Remember to double-check your answer for correctness as you only get one opportunity to provide Akina with the correct answer.

If you provided Akina with the correct answer, you will receive a Brown Bag Dispenser Coin for your efforts. You can take this coin to the Vending Machine in Xiang Chung-Shi to exchange for a prize. As a bonus, you will also receive twelve purchase points that can be used to restock items from the PowerPets shops. You can attempt Akina’s Quest once every 90 minutes.

Grandpa Gekkie used to hand out Elder Scrolls to players who were knowledgeable enough to earn them. Unfortunately, Grandpa Gekkie passed in June 2007 and Gekkie was chosen to become the next apprentice. You can visit him inside the Power Temple in Xiang Chung-Shi to attempt the Apprentice Quest.

Gekkie is still in training for his apprenticeship under the Elder, Bubba Buddha. Part of Gekkie’s training is to take care of the Elder. Gekkie will ask you to help him out and bring him a few items.

After you bring Gekkie the items that he requested, you will be rewarded with one of seven Elder Scrolls. These scrolls can be placed on your bookshelf and then read and rated. Reading all seven Elder Scrolls is one of the requirements to becoming Elite. You can attempt the Apprentice Quest once every 24 hours.

Ratti can be found in the underwater city, Abyss. In her free time she enjoys laying back and catching up on a good book. However, living underwater can interfere with her beloved hobby and she is in constant need of new books to read. Why don’t you help her out: maybe she’ll reward you with a brand new book of your own?

Ratti is willing to give you a new waterproof book in exchange for a couple other books. She will only ask for two books that you can purchase from the PowerPets shops or from other players.

Ratti will be so thrilled that you returned with two books for her to read that she is super anxious to go read them. You will be rewarded with a new PetPedia or HealthPedia. As a bonus, you will also receive eight purchase points that can be used to restock items from the PowerPets shops. You can attempt Ratti’s Quest once every twelve hours.

You can find Sheffield the Sheepherder in the mountains of Kimberroo. He often finds himself in contact with all kinds of vegetation that cannot be found elsewhere in the PowerPets world.

If you would like Sheffield to bring you back a plant from the mountains, you should start his quest. First he will ask you to bring him some items. He typically asks for several cheap foods, drinks, and toys.

After you return to Sheffield with his requested items, he will have a question to ask you to enhance his wisdom. He will tell you in which PetPedia you will be able to find the answer to his question in. You can obtain this PetPedia from doing another quest or from purchasing it from another player. After doing so, you must place this book on your bookshelf in order to open and read it. Sheffield will provide you with five answer choices and it is up to you to read the book and find the correct answer. Remember to double-check your answer for correctness as you only get one opportunity to provide Sheffield with the correct answer.

If you provided Sheffield with the correct answer, you will be rewarded with a plant from the mountains of Kimberroo. These plants are special in the sense that each has a specific weight, density, and calorie. These plants can be used to create recipes in the Berry Box that can strengthen (or weaken) your pet. As a bonus, you will also receive thirty-two purchase points that can be used to restock items from the PowerPets shops. You can attempt the Sheephearder Quest once every four hours.

The shipwreck is located in the underwater city Abyss. If you so desire you can explore the wreck.
Something will appear which will keep you from further exploring the wreck. Better get rid of whatever it is quickly! You will be told to find a weapon that does particular damage. In this example, we are told to use a weapon that does 5 titanium damage.

You can find a list of weapons in the Outlet Manager in East New Barkston. You should select weapon for the item type and 990 for item rarity, as usually the lesser rarity the cheaper an item is. You will be provided with a list of all weapons on the site with the chosen rarity as well as the armor damage each weapon does. You should choose a weapon that matches the particular damage you need (in this example we are looking for 5 titanium damage). There may be more than one weapon that will do the trick, so you can pick one of your own choosing. If you click on a weapon’s picture from this page it will bring you to the item detail page, where you can find more information about that item (cost, where to buy it, etc).

After you purchase your weapon, you should return back to the shipwreck. Make sure that the weapon you chose matches the required damage needed to fend off whatever is blocking the way. If you have multiple weapons in your backpack, make sure that you choose the correct one because you only get one opportunity. You will lose the weapon that you choose and if it did not provide the required damage then you will be chased away from the shipwreck. If you use a weapon that does provide the correct damage, you can continue on with the quest.
Of course after chasing away your predators, the door to the cabin is locked. A voice from the other side of the door will ask you a question from a Power Federation story.
The answer to the question can be found by reading the given story. In this example, we are asked to read “Rewarded Messiness.” We are also told that this story can be found in the Labrador City library list. It is important to note from which city this story belongs, because you will need the appropriate library card to buy this story. Because this story is from Labrador City, we will need to find a Labrador City Library Card.
There are eleven different library cards and each card can be used to buy ten stories from that particular city. The library cards can be obtained from completing Tumid’s Quest successfully or from purchasing them from other players. Once you have the required library card in your backpack it’s time to go pick out the story. You can get to the Power Federation from a building in East New Barkston, or it is easily accessible by clicking “Towns” at the top right of your computer screen.

This brings you to the Power Federation Map, where you can select from one of the eleven cities to visit. It does NOT matter which city you choose to visit to use your library card. If you already live in a Power Federation City, you can access your own city library. The library can be found by choosing a city, then simply clicking on either the [Library] link at the top of the map or the building with a book on its roof.
To add your library card you should click on the “My Cards List” link. This page will show all eleven library cards. If you click on a library card and you have it in your backpack, it will redeem your card for ten stories. Underneath each card you will see “Total: # stories.” This number increases by ten for each library card that you redeem. Each time you purchase a story from that city’s library the number will decrease by one. Therefore, each library card is worth ten stories from its respective library.
After redeeming your library card, you should choose the city that you’re looking for from the dropdown menu (in this example we are looking for Labrador City) and click on Library Book List. This will bring you to all of the stories from that city, listed in alphabetical order. Find the story that you are being asked a question from. If you have not previously bought that story, there will be a [BUY] link next to its name. Buy the story (it will not cost anything except 1 point from your library card redemption page shown above). Read the story and find the answer to the asked question. Make sure you choose the correct answer before you submit because you only get one opportunity to give an answer. If you give an incorrect answer you will fail the quest and leave empty-handed. If you answer correctly you will be rewarded with one of four pearls, which can be used as currency to shop at Shark-O-Bell, Spice it Up, or Nessie’s Fancy Fish. You can repeat this quest once every two hours.

Tumid the Puffin is the mascot of Noorvik. He is the oldest puffin living in the city and has had many experiences in life that has made him one of the wisest and most intelligent. He is also the host of Tumid’s Quest.

Tumid lives a very busy life and seems to be tired and hungry. He will ask that you bring him three items before you continue on with his quest. He typically asks for food or drinks.

Tumid is a wise old bird and appreciates a little knowledge. He will ask you one simple question. The answer to his question can be found in the given book. You must obtain this book by either earning it from another quest or purchasing it directly from another player. You also must have the book placed on your bookshelf in order to read it and move on with the quest. You only get one opportunity to answer the question so be sure to double-check your answer before submitting.

If you provide Tumid with the correct answer he will bring you back one of eleven library cards. These cards can be used in the Power Federation library. Each card can be redeemed for ten stories from the respective library. As a bonus, Tumid will also grant you 4 Purchase Credits that can be used to restock items in the Powerpets shops. You can attempt Tumid’s Quest again once every six hours.

Library Cards that are rewarded from Tumid’s Quest:
Pony City Library Card
Gecko City Library Card
Eagle City Library Card
Polar City Library Card
Collie City Library Card
Kuvasz City Library Card
Somali City Library Card
Wolfox City Library Card
Dolphin City Library Card
Sheepdog City Library Card
Labrador City Library Card

Miles Dig Site/Tanos Dig Site
Select an area to dig. Each area contains bones to a specific dinosaur.
The ground here is very hard, but Miles found a trick. If he places food leftovers on the ground, the ants will burrow to the surface, stirring up the soil in the process. After that, it's easy to dig down a little bit. Who knows what you'll uncover.
This quest is located in Tanos and is relatively cheap to accomplish, but the payoff takes a while. The quest can be done every 3 hours and requires no pedia, but since it's not on the quest link of Powerpets, it's easy to forget.
For this quest you bring some food for the ants, and they uncover a dinosaur bone for you. Pretty cool, each of the 5 clickable boxes is a different dinosaur skeleton. You can't take the skeleton with you, but once you complete one of the skeletons you get a DNA sample - which is used for changing pet species. You can either work towards the new pet species combination of DNA you need, or you can sell the most popular DNA's samples for easy cash. The cheapest sample is
DNA D, which is the T-rex's skeleton. It's used in a lot of species combinations, but since it's the skeleton with the fewest bones it's the one completest most often.
You can view your current progress on the skeletons by clicking My Dinos link. Click on each dinosaur's skeleton to view your progress. Click Start Dig link to begin, and then click in the box you want to work in. You can click on the graphic of the itmes needed for the quest if you'd like to locate or shop for them quickly. When you have all the items, return to the Dig Site and click Start Dig link and click the 'I have the items!' link.

To find out what dig site will give you what dino, please hover over the box, and it will be revealed!
