Kitchens, Power Plant Pricing & Taxes

Guide by LyonesJade

Labby City is used as an example.

Looks like its time for change again everyone. GOOD changes though. Kitchens are now functional all you need to do is have a completed home of any size, complete your kitchen with the 3 needed appliances and assign 1 of your pets as manager to that home.

Make sure to take your assigned pet to Cilantro in Chimu to learn as many recipees as they can so you have more cooking options. You can visit him to learn a new recipee every 2 hours and all your pets can learn the recipees but you have to set them as your primary pet before going there to do so (reset primary pet after 1 has learned all recipees and once they all have learned them you can switch out any of your pets to be in charge if you like).

Once you have done all of the above just click to go inside your home and into your kitchen and you will see your manager pet sitting in the kitchen. Below the pet will be a picture of each item that pet has learned the recipee to make. Click the picture and directly under the name it will have the cooking time and how many servings you will be making and below a list of ingredients you can click to retrieve. Once you have choosen which recipee you want to make gather the ingredients and back inside your kitchen click the item they are for then click COOK. The timer will then tell you when your food is completed and can come back to collect what you made. Upon returning the items go into your backpack and you are ready to go again!

The cost is a combination of pearl items from Spice it Up and PB items from either Simpley Delicious or Hydration Station plus the Power Plant Fee of 1 Energy Unit.

Currently Labby City Power Plant is set at 32/35 so charges $350 per unit for you to use either Energy or Resources. It pays out $320 per unit back to the citizens every time they cash in a Windmill, Oil Refinery...... (a single deeder of either of these produces 10 units so $3200 per deed size it is)

The City HAS to charge more than it pays out in order to help pay for some of your Benefits. Labby has the smallest margin of difference of ANY City to make sure you can still make a good profit if you own a Resource Convertor. Because of this we make the least amount of any City from our Power Plant.

Weekly every City also has 1000 units of both Energy and Resources cashed out to pay for Benefits that all of you who own Industrial properties get to cash in on your properties and make Free PB from as long as you can catch it before the Power Plant refills (see article farthur down in the News archives about this).

In order to both SAVE you money on restocking your Rest/Playzones and now cooking in your own Kitchens we need to lower the Power Plant Prices. By lowering BOTH cash in price as well as purchase price and keeping the margin at a difference of 3($30) everybody wins. Not only will it be cheaper for you but save the City money on the weekly cash-ins. Yes you will profit less on your Industrial Plants but you will profit more on your Rest/Playzone and items you make in your Kitchen to sell. A winning combination due to the Trickle Over effect.
