There are several ways to make powerbucks on powerpets. It takes little time and little effort. Below will be the way that I personally made money when I first joined powerpets in 2005.
1. Games - A lot of the games that are available are easy and payout pretty well; including Fire Hazzard, Gekkies Water Reel, Roo's Rush, Mini Catcher. Read the Games Guide that we have to offer on how to play certain games.
2. Quest - In Powerpets, there are many different quests that you can do. Why should you do quests, you ask. There are different reasons. You want to get Power Temple Tokens, you want to get Kangabucks and so on. Of course, you can get those items without doing quests, but it will be more expensive. Click on the name of a quest to see more information about it.

Housing
The housing market has it's up's and down's on powerpets, but watch the city you live in closely, if the land there is more expensive than a land deed, buy some land deeds and buy some land and re-sell it for a nice profit. If you are good at restocking it would be even better if you built something on your property and sold it.
If you are working on the conquest where you need to make toys and food, look up the items that you can make and see if the ingredients outway the cost. If you'd make money, keep making that item till it isn't profitable anymore.

Restocking
Restocking is the most profitable way on powerpets. What I did when I first started out what buy books, lots and lots of books. Sold them in swaps and made a profit of 300k an hour. It was easy, cheap, and fun.
Shopping in the other malls will bring you profit as well.

POWEX
POWEX might not be for you if you aren't for taking risk, but if you are a risk taker you can make a ton of pbs in a few hours.
Example:
You purchase 100 shares at 50 Power Bucks per share - 5000 PB
Share value increases to 60 Power Bucks. You will receive (60 PB - 0.06 PB (0.1% of 60)) x 100 shares = 5994 PB
If, on the other hand, your share decreases to 40 Power Bucks, you will receive: (40 PB - 0.04 PB) x 100 shares = 3996 PB
You can only sell the same block of shares that you purchased. This means if you purchased one block of 1000 shares, you cannot sell 500 of those shares afterwards, you have to sell the entire block of 1000 shares
